The weather was crisp but beautiful. The coastline in Cannon Beach is beautiful.

The home was within easy walking distance to beach and you do get a glimpse of the ocean from the deck and side windows in house. The house was as described. It’s a small place but has everything you need. A little bit of road noise, but it does quiet down in the evening.

Check out is at 11am. Person was outside waiting in her truck and rushed us as we were trying to load our car with an 83 year old man and three year old. By making us rush, as she kept getting out of her truck asking us when we would be done, I forgot my thermos and several items. We were doing our best to be out on time, but I was dealing with several people both young and old. I didn't even get to go the bathroom before leaving. It was only 11:15 but the time we pulled out.

This is an older property but very well maintained. Location is its greatest asset, beach access is 100 yards from your front door and has ocean views from two windows and the deck. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds, one bathroom with vanity, toilet and shower/tub. Very comfortable house for 2-4 people. Property Management Company offers exceptional service, had a few minor problems and they were resolved immediately after contacting them. Overall very satisfied with the rental in terms of value and quality of service from the management company.

Having visited Cannon Beach many times from Vancouver,British Columbia in the past we know the area quite well . We usually stay in one of the motels near the downtown shops but this time wanted more space and a house where we could cook and just hang out . The Cottage Inn vacation home was perfect ! Very clean , had a well equipped kitchen , very comfortable bed , wood burning fireplace and deck with a view of the ocean about 100 yards down the road ! Was only 2 of us but would have suited a family ! We will no longer be staying in a hotel as this was way more enjoyable . Easy experience with the rental setup as well . Thank you and see you again next time !

The house is close to the beach and some of the restaurants and stores. Walkable to all our needs. The location was quiet. The place had wifi and cable which was a huge +. It easily fit 4 people. The only real concerns were the street light shined in both the bedrooms and the floors sloped. I would have loved a gas fireplace, but wood was fine. It had charm and was easy to vacation in.

Cottage Inn is so easy to settle into and the beach is just steps away. Nice walk to the coffee shop and the pub down the street. Excellent food and even the little market has pretty much what you need. That's a perfect place to have it all. The town is a short drive and the nicest people. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Easygoing beach cottage, a hop, skip and a jump to the awesome beach. Nice big kitchen - family friendly. Plenty of places to sit and relax after a day in the waves and plenty of beds for our family of 6. Very charming, quiet and safe neighborhood. The local bunnies were an added bonus. Great coffee shop just down the street too.

Short walk to the beach was very convenient. Within walking distance to haystack rock. We were surprised at how much was in the house for children - toys, books, high chair and rails that could be added to the bed for toddlers. House was cozy and clean. The fenced in yard was perfect for getting energy out when we weren't quite ready to hit the beach.

We stayed in early May at the Cottage Inn in the southern part of Cannon Beach. We couldn't have had a nicer experience, or a nicer place to stay. The kitchen was a dream, and ditto the living and dining rooms, the two fireplaces, the two bedrooms and spacious yard. Just steps from the ocean, we had a stellar view and took walks on the beach every morning and evening. Highly recommended.

We have been renting this house since 2006. It is cozy, the location is great and it's always clean. It is a minute walk to the beach too. The cd player was missing, but the management co. brought us a replacement the next day. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. I think we have created a lot of good memories in this house for our kids who are now 10 and 12 (they have been coming here since they were 4 and 2). We plan on renting this house until our kids won't come with us any longer!

This was the second stay at this location. Found it to be well appointed and comfortable, with plenty of room (there were just two of us however). Cannon Beach and surrounding environs has been part of our Seattle family for over 50 years and having stayed from Chapman Point to South of Arch Cape at various points in that time, I found the location to be excellent. Not right in the middle of the town jumble, but close enough to take advantage of all the town has to offer without much of a journey

We really enjoy this little home. The only comment we have is regarding the master bed. It is becoming a bit soft over the last couple of years and the mattress should be upgraded. The kitchen is lovely and easy to prepare a large meal. Cannon Beach property management is a pleasure to work with. Vey professional an their on site manager Linda is joy. We stay here about three times a year and will continue to visit this property.

Awesome,amazing,loved it. Perfect for a family of 4 or 5, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and view from the little patio. We played Frisbee on the big lawn and flew kites on the beach.

My family had a great time. We had fabulously clear weather and my young boys loved walking down to the beach barefoot. We had a couple of issues with the house and the staff was very quick to find solutions and fix the problems. Looking forward to returning!

Loved the location - it was easy to get up and down the coast for our first Oregon visit, and plenty to do right in Cannon Beach w/beach walking and shops. Stayed for a week with our three kids (6,4,1) who all shared a bedroom (big kids loved the bunk and room fit a porta crib easily). The house is even more updated and charming in person than the photos! Very clean, well stocked kitchen..had everything we needed. Was very kid friendly (including some toys and high chair). (Minor quirk was the DVD player wouldn't work). Large grass fenced yard was also very nice. Loved the easy walk to beach (100 yds) and bakery and pub. Deck was perfect for evening dinners watching sunsets. Would definitely stay again.

Cottage Inn is a comfortable house with a sea view and beach access. The furnishings are older but well maintained and clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We had a lovely time and will recommend the place to our friends.

Enjoyed the cottage immensely. We will be staying there again in Sept. Clean and nicely appointed. The only change I would make is a small propane barbecue for cooking. Other than that, perfect. We can watch the ocean waves from the kitchen and patio and the area is very quiet. CB Property Management are friendly and very helpful. It is obvious the owner of this property takes pride in caring about her guests.
The Cottage is a repeat for us each year.

We LOVED our stay at the Cottage Inn and started planning our next trip within minutes of arriving. Our sons loved the bunk beds and I enjoyed the ocean themed quilts they snuggled under. We appreciated the high chair for our infant. We felt there was plenty of room for all of us to play or relax. It was a quick walk to the beach, we even went barefoot once. Looking forward to returning.

A comfortable, cozy home with a view of the ocean. You can sit on the front porch and hear the waves. The house is immaculately clean (furnishings are older in many cases but clean and well kept). We had a great stay and had everything we needed. Not far from the main part of town, overall a great place that I would go back to.

The Cottage Inn was a darling cottage with everything we needed. With a broken foot and cast the deck and living room gave plenty of space for viewing the ocean plus we loved the quiet neighborhood street. We will stay again.

We really loved our time at the Cottage Inn. I would say that although it sleeps 6, only the queen bed is really suited for adults. Everything else available for sleeping was suitable for kids to sleep on. Queen bed was very, very comfortable! My only
complaint was that the screendoor slams behind you so we were constantly trying to put a foot out to slow it down so it wouldn't slam.

This is a sweet, cozy home with a fantastic location and wonderful view of the ocean from the living room and kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved watching the wild bunnies roam around the yard. The kitchen was huge and it had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

We would love to see an upgrade on the TV/ video equipment (the DVD player needs replacing,or at least cleaning--we couldn't play movies!) A gas fireplace would be wonderful, instead of the wood-burning one~and we would love to see a small bench in the kitchen, to look out at the view of the sea (instead of the highchair...)

Beautiful quiet street with ocean view. It was a great home base for days of exploring and shopping. Drizzly days and stormy nights were spent curled up on the leather couches. Loved every minute of it. Oh, the shower was great. It was a totally updated bathroom.

I'd highly recommend Cottage Inn for a small family with kids. There were toys for the house and for the sand and great bunk beds for sleeping. The location was really convenient too, just a short walk past a few houses and you were at the beach. It is not within walking distances to town really (if you have a stroller and all) so you'd want to rely on the free shuttle or your car.

I know with inflation the cost of the overnight stay has to go up, but I think the cleaning fee is too high. We would offer to clean it ourselves if that was possible.

This is a great little cottage. Great for a family of four or six with small children and perfect for a couple. The only drawback with older children would be the one bathroom. Furnishings were lovely and it was comfortable and easy to be there. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home away from home.

the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. it's in poor shape. i don't know about the ones in the bunk beds.
kitchen was well stocked w/utensils, cookware, etc.
location was very nice, at least for this time of year.

We loved our stay! The cottage was perfectly cozy. The kitchen was more than amply stocked with cooking utensils and supplies, not to mention the ample supply of children's games, books, and sand toys. The location was ideal, not too close, but close enough to the downtown, easy walking distance to haystack rock, but yet not on the more touristy side of the beach. We would definately come again
