Incredible view and short walk to beach access but the walk is along a busy road with no sidewalk. Home is surprisingly spacious! Outdoor space is nice but could use some shade.

We love Haystack Haven! The views are gorgeous from every window in the house! It’s such a cute, cozy beach house. We had some nice weather so were able to sit out and enjoy the deck which was great! We have stayed in many places in CB and this house will be one that we definitely come back to....it’s just a charming beach house!

The parking is a problem, every time we left we hoped that no one parked in our spot, unfortunate it cannot be marked Personal Residence No parking!!! This will not deter us from renting this property again, however.

The view was stunning and the home was absolutely perfect for my mom and I. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The living space was large enough to accommodate guests and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. Overall we just sat and enjoyed the amazing view of haystack rock, the needles and the beach from every room and the multiple deck areas. Beach access was just a short walk as well. We absolutely loved Haystack Haven and will definately be back!

The fact the home was just so clean and the little added touches in the way the home was presented. Clearly thoughtful about the sheets that were purchased. The location and view! Holy cow! We were wowed! I can't wait to come back.

We stayed her to celebrate an anniversary. It was the perfect romantic spot for our stay. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The view could not be beat. We meditated every morning on the deck over looking Haystack Rock and the mighty Pacific Ocean. The home is just darling and very cozy. The mattress on the queen bed was very comfy with comfortable pillows, and a big fluffy comforter. We would definitely come back here in a heartbeat! May even bring the 3 kids next time!

LOVE the new/refurbished deck outside the kitchen AND the ability to actually walk around to the living room side to enjoy the views. Our only suggestion is that new patio chairs be obtained to be used on that deck - the legs on the plastic ones tend to “splay” on the new TREK decking. That was a bit disconcerting!

This house was perfect for us as a couple. Very clean and it had everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking. The location of the house was ideal for ocean viewing and a short walk to the ocean. This house has floor heating in the bathroom and was just he heavenly! Only thing we had issues with is the bed it was ok. Oh and bring your own pillows. The ones that are there are less then desirable. Overall this house was wonderful and we would stay here again.

This was our second visit to Haystack Haven, and we couldn't get back soon enough. This home is the absolute definition of "beach cozy" with the added perk of having the unmatchable views of Haystack Rock. We have loved everything about this house, its vintage charm, location, views, you name it. The staff is exceptional as well; I made a comment as we were checking out last time that it would have been great to have had a larger nonstick skillet, and so on this trip, we packed one just in case, but lo and behold, a high quality new one was there in the cupboard when we arrived on this trip, so the CBPM staff takes great care in making sure that the guests are well taken care of. We've loved every house we've stayed in through CBPM, but this one can't be beat!

Parking is a bit of a challenge, as you are on the curve on Hemlock., but the view is worth it. It is a charming cottage with plenty of space for a small family. The table in the living room overlooking Haystack Rock makes putting together puzzles very enjoyable on rainy days.

Just got home from staying at Haystack Haven, and already can't wait until we can go back again. Loved the charm and character of the house, down to the farmhouse table for meals and cozy decor. So convenient to get to town, as well as the ease getting down to the beach for walks. And the views, oh the views! We loved waking up both mornings to the incredible ocean views from the bedrooms and having a front seat to Haystack Rock from nearly every room in the house. Can't wait to stay again!

Stunning unimpeded views from all the rooms of the beach and haystack rock. The house isn't right on the beach, but you feel like you're up there floating above the other houses, soaking in the vista. A cheery house with lots of light. Clean. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen clean and well stocked, and the gas fireplace very cozy at night. There's a mini stereo in the living room with AUX input for your music player.

The location is excellent - it looks right out on Haystack Rock! The house is comfortable and the spaces were good and useful. My only complaint is that I wish the two bedrooms had better clothing storage, like dressers and closets that opened all the way.

This is my 2nd stay at Haystack Haven and it did not disappoint. The views are always spectacular and proximity to town, beach and the Rock are impeccable. The cottage has everything my guests and I needed and the new mattresses in the "guest" room were a great investment by the owners. Continued maintenance and investment on those types of living needs will keep me coming back!

We booked Haystack Haven because we wanted to be close to Haystock Rock so that you could easily get down at low tide to check out all of the sea life with our 5 year old son. When we got to the home we were very impressed with the coziness of the home. The views of Haystack Rock are amazing and the home suited us perfectly. The home is older and could use some updating. We noticed the darkened carpet inside the door in the living area and thought that it would have been nice to have a some tile or another hard surface there. The kitchen needs a little work and is a bit quirky but all in all we thought the home was great! We did notice right way that the bedrooms could use some window coverings to aid in daylight coming through at 4:30am and making us wake up earlier than we would like. Our son loved the bed by the window. He would lay there in the mornings while waking up and look out at the ocean and Haystock Rock. We would definitely recommend this home as it was a great value and we truly enjoyed our stay!

We had rented here once before and this little house is fantastic. Cozy, charming, incredible view, and stocked with everything you need. Only complaint was the beds, which yielded sore backs for all. Need new mattresses and, if that were taken care of, we would always rent here and pass the word on to friends and family. It is a hike to the beach down stairs but worth it for us.

Our stay at Haystack Haven was relaxing and beautiful. House is perfectly situated close to town, a short walk to the beach and has a million dollar view of Haystack Rock and the Needles.
The house itself is quaint and cutely decorated with a stocked kitchen we took advantage of! The fact there is a washer and dryer is nice,the bathroom with heated floor and a deep tub is amazing. The only drawback was the queen bed (didn’t try the twin beds, so can’t comment): we woke up several times the first night uncomfortable; all subsequent nights were spent on our camping pads in front of the gas fire (yes, we brought them just in case). Despite the bed, I would heartily recommend this place and their great staff! We will return to enjoy the view, the sounds and smells of wonderful Haystack Haven!

The house was great and the views were tremendous, I particularly liked the way the house is laid out with all bedrooms on the ocean view side along with kitchen and living room. The pillows in the master bedroom were flat, but other than that the furnishings were great! Not a whole lot of space for parking since it was right along Hemlock. Everything else made up for it!

This is the 4th time stayng at this home. The location and view is hard to beat. The home has all one needs for a comfortable stay and is very cozy. The view and deck are the shining stars of this home. A few things to note: the BBQ is rusting and although operable, is about to fall over due to its disenegration. Also, the twin beds although comfortable are very squeaky. FOr light sleepers, it is hard to get a good night rest. All in all Haystack Haven is a lovely littel home and I would recommend it.

Our 2nd stay here. We love the location. And could spend an eternity looking out the living room window. If you don't want your vacation ruined by bad weather, stay here. If there is a storm, you can watch all the action out one of the many windows. Next to the main road, but after you get inside, you won't care.

We come to Cannon Beach yearly. Cannon Beach Property Management is on top of everything for our stay. We know that if there is any problem or if we have a question it will be taken care of within a very short time. We travel a great deal, and never receive the attention any where else that we get from them. It's one of the main reasons we return every year.

This is our "go to" spot in Cannon Beach; lovely view of Haystack; easy walk to the beach. The house is small but comfortable. Only issues: the noise from the bad bearing in the fan in the gas fireplace and the marble ledge in the tub render both useless.

You cannot beat the panoramic view! We really liked the layout, the decor, the well stocked kitchen and all the additional bedding and towels. It was a plus to have a washer and dryer along with sand castle equipment, a kite, beach towels and a straw mat. The twin beds were squeaky and noisy for our kids but we loved the foam topper on the pull out sofa. I did bruise and puncture my leg on the metal bird sculpture sitting to side of fireplace when we were making up the pull out sofa bed. Bird needs to be tucked in by wall beside the fireplace. We had to get a new DVD player from your office day after trying to watch a movie but then it worked. Grill needs to be looked at as heat was low and slow so food took longer to cook. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

This was our first stay at Haystack Haven. We were a little surprised by the location right on Hemlock. Made for cautious trips to the beach. However, I should have figured that out based on the address. This home is wonderful. It is so quaint with the interior decorations. My husband and I loved to sit and eat every meal on the deck facing Haystack rock. It was like walking through a secret garden to get to the beautiful deck. I asked our kiddos what was one of their favorite things about the house and they both said the bedding! The beds were very comfortable and tastefully done. We would love to stay here again! Only wish, we could bring our dog!

We have spent many Summer vacations at Cannon Beach and have stayed in several different places. Last year was our first year at Haystack Haven, and we loved it so much we booked it again this Summer. Once again, it was a great visit. The view is spectacular! Haystack Haven is perfect for anywhere from 3 to 6 people. The only drawback for people might be that there is only one bathroom, but that was no problem for us. We still love Haystack Haven and will definitely go back again.

We really enjoyed the stay, the view was gorgeous. The weather was good, we had different weather every day, warm, hot and misty, but it didn't spoil our holiday. Our only comment about the house would be, that it is ready for a coat of paint, especially the bedrooms. The twin beds are ready for replacing. Otherwise, we wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

Amazing location and view of Haystack rock. Very cozy and a great deck to hang out on and soak it all in when the weather is cooperating. The windows are expansive and most of them open so you can hear the ocean from indoors.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this little house- much better than advertised and well worth the $$. The only (and there's only 1!) very unusual thing is that the beds were quite uncomfortable. My mother and I both have rheumatoid arthritis, and the beds were not very good. Other than that, this is a 5 star place- best view in town, excellent location, and everything we could possibly need was there! Good job, CBPM! We will be back.

The view was tremendous and offered a panorama of the entire coast line. The beds were uncomfortable and in need of new mattresses. The walk to the beach was a challenge for my wife with all the stairs and the parking was very tight and inconvenient.

One of the better homes I've stayed in at Cannon Beach. It's old but maintained. Well equipped kitchen, dishes were better quality than what I have in my own home, nice living room area, plenty of space, large deck, and great views of beach and Haystack Rock. And finally, a home without ants everywhere!!!! Lots of windows and great views of beach. Leave the windows open and sleep to the sound of ocean waves. Easy access to beach by stairway from road to sand. You need good legs to climb back up the long stairway. Only complaint is the hideaway bed was very uncomfortable, even for kids, due to springs under mattress.

Alot of planning went into this most anticipated vacation. we wanted to make violet's first experience of the ocean a good one, not to mention a good one for her parents and grandparents. We were not disappointed. Everyday was special in one way or another.We enjoyed looking at the beach activities, haystack rock and digging in the sand. We even had a special visitor, who Violet named "megan" a seagull who visited her on the deck.. Thank You so much.. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Haystack Haven! One bathroom for dad, mom and two teenage girls was sometimes a challenge, but the deep tub and heated slate floors made for a good pay-off! The view is so spectacular that even when the weather was bad, or we couldn't make it down to the beach, we felt like we were there, anyway. Thank you to the friendly office people and a wonderful town full of friendly shop and restaurant owners who made our vacation really fun!

We were really happy with our stay overall. Very charming house with excellent views. The property was very clean and well maintained. I had read positive reviews of the property management company and they were as advertised. Very professional, efficient, and organized. Only drawbacks were that the house has only one (very charming) bathroom and the parking was was in a horrible location if you have young kids (which I did). But again, it was a great house and an excellent experience overall.

We had a wonderful time at Haystack Haven. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. It's about a block away from the beach and overlooks the one and only Haystack rock. We will visit this rental again. Thank you CBPM!

This was our third visit over the past few years. We love coming back and hope to come back again soon. Our lodging, the bakeries and food, the beautiful scenery and of course the people. Such a great place.

Although the property is close to the main road we never heard car noise from inside the house.

My wife and I recently spent a wonderful month in a property managed by Cannon Beach Property Management. Our every question was answered by the staff and the house was in excellent condition. We have already booked again for next year. Highly recommended.

There was so much room--we're used to staying in smaller places. The location is perfect--easy to walk to the Sleepy Monk for coffee and to walk into or back from town. While we had great weather, even if the weather is bad you have a good view.
The heated bathroom floor was just too decadent!
Only suggestion--it's time for scrubbing in the corners and along the baseboards.
